Network?
The Consumer
Network is
dedicated to “making recovery possible for those who live with
mental illness.” This is our motto and we encourage every
consumer within our programs to get involved and stay involved.

Mental Illness
does not take a Summer vacation and neither do we. NAMI
C.A.R.E. will be meeting throughout the Summer on Tuesday nights
at 6:30 pm and Friday at noon. For more information, please

A Monthly Message from the
CND:
Harold Stout
confirmed by the CNAC (4/6)
It is with great joy that I am to
announce that Harold Stout was unanimously confirmed by the NAMI
Lubbock Consumer Network Advisory Committee. This was the
first time since incorporated our operating procedures that we
have used the confirmation process for an advisory member
position. I think it helps us all remember how important it
is to select quality consumers to help serve NAMI Lubbock in
promoting the message of recovery.
It's been a hard couple of months
for NAMI Texas. However, I know that we are a resilient
group and we will move forward. We must focus on the
positive things we're doing like Team Solutions. One must
also look at our personal lives; we're doing ALOT of good things
and are all living what we're teaching. Good for us.
